    • Lalbagh Botanical Garden (Parks) : The Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens, built by Hyder Ali in 1760, is one of the most diverse botanical gardens in South Asia and a must-see tourist attraction in Bangalore. It is situated in the southern part of the city, about 4 km from Vidhana Soudha and M.G. Road. Tourists have four approach gates to enter these fascinating gardens.
    • Bangalore Palace (Palaces) : The Bangalore Palace is a regal remnant of the bygone era and one of the most fascinating historical monuments in town. The palace was built by Chamaraja Wodeyar, Maharaja of Mysore in 1887, along the lines of the Tudor-style architecture of the Windsor Castle in England. The marvelous palace is constructed primarily of wood and is surrounded by lush gardens.
    • Iskcon Temple (Spiritual Places) : Situated on the hillock of Hare Krishna Hill in northern Bangalore, the ISKCON Temple in Bangalore is a magnificent cultural complex featuring a 17 m tall gold-plated dhwaja-stambha (flag post) and an 8.5 m tall gold plated kalash shikara, along with six shrines dedicated respectively to Radha-Krishna, Krishna Balrama, Nitai Gauranga, Srinivasa Govinda, Prahlada Narasimha and Srila Prabhupada. The temple celebrates several festivals associated with the incarnations of Lord Vishnu.
    • National Gallery Of Modern Art (Museum) : The National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA), Bengaluru, was set up in the attractive premises of the Manikyavelu Mansion at 49 Palace Road and opened to the public on 18th February, 2009. This gracious heritage building was transformed from a house into an Art Gallery, with a large display space of 1551 square meters to which a new gallery block with a display space of 1260 sq. m. was added. The architecture of the supplementary block was designed in such a fashion that it merges with the style in addition to ambience of the heritage Manikyavelu Mansion while simultaneously fulfilling the requirements of a modern museum. The Bengaluru NGMA is run as well as administered as a subordinate office of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. Visitors to the gallery can spend a couple of hours browsing over 500 exhibits featuring art work from different time periods and art schools.
