Top Beaches in India | HireMeCar

Oh,are you a beach person?!
There is beauty in green lushes, bounty waterfalls, lofty mountains but, there is something killingly saintly in visiting a beach. The sand beneath your feet and in between your toes, the vast ocean with no boundaries, endless waves hitting the shores, the absolute peace one finds by just sitting in front of the sea is an immense feeling.
Not to mention the serendipity of watching sunrises and sunsets!
Here’s a list of top 8 beaches we feel we ought to visit:

Goa
Mention beach and the fist thought that strikes us is Goa. One of the best beaches to enjoy with friends and the energy is fantastic.

Varkala
This Trivandrum beach is a calm place for those who seek to introspect and enjoy some space. You could also treat yourself with some yoga and ayurvedic massages.

Gokarna
Again, another beach to go for some away time from all the chaos is Gokarna in Karnataka. With many beaches all around, it has an old charm attached to it. You can visit this beach with friends and family alike, perform adventure activities.

Ganpatipule
Located on the Konkan coast in Maharashtra, this beach is a beautiful one to relax and swim a little. The red sands here are quite characteristic to its own.

Vizag
Vishakhapatnam or just Vizag, call it as you please. Vizag being one the busiest coastal city with Navy headquarters is still the number one place to visit beaches to enjoy a drift. With museums, gardens and valleys to visit along; this place offers a complete package.

Havelock
How can we ever forget to add Andaman’s Havelock? Snorkelling, scuba diving to trekking and rides on elephants, this place is a blessing. White sands and blue waters to soothe your senses. We definitely say, Go Andaman.

Pondicherry
Pondicherry formerly known as Puducherry is a beach which speaks of French colonies and has a history to contribute. Canoeing, Kayaking, meditation and spiritual activities can all be done at this one place. Not to forget, the famous lanes and churches gives you a very French-ish feel we must say!
